Welcome to The Beacon Friends Association, the PTA for The Beacon School. We are a registered charity that brings together families, the school, and the wider community to support our children.

Who We Are

The Beacon Friends Association is run by a dedicated volunteer committee made up of parents, carers, and members of the school community. We work closely with the school to support its values and enrich the experience of every student.

What We Do

Our main role is to fundraise to support the school. The money we raise helps to provide:

• Extra resources and equipment

• Enrichment activities and experiences

• Events and opportunities that benefit all students
   

Get Involved

We warmly welcome everyone, whether you can help regularly, volunteer from time to time, or simply support our fundraising efforts. Every contribution, whether it’s your time, ideas, or encouragement, truly makes a difference.

Being part of The Beacon Friends Association is a wonderful way to connect with other families, support the school, and help our children thrive.

Pre-loved uniform sales

Our preloved uniform shop helps support families while promoting sustainability within our school community. We rely on generous donations to keep it well stocked and are always grateful for clean, good-quality uniform items.

If your child has outgrown any uniform, please consider donating it. Whilst we look into a dedicated space on school grounds, please drop off any items in a bag labelled, “BFA Uniform” at the Main Reception during the school day.

How you can support The BFA. 

The Parents Lottery - Join the lottery and help us create a thriving school community. Every ticket you buy will help to enrich the lives of our students. Each £1 ticket provides a 60p donation to the BFA and gives you a chance to win £25,000 every Friday along with a selection of other prizes.

Easy Fundraising - Every time you shop with thousands of brands through Easyfundraising, they donate at no extra cost to you.
