Sports and Fixtures

At The Beacon School we compete against other local schools in The East Surrey League in a number of different sports.  During the winter term we participate in netball (girls) and football (boys) whilst in the summer term we will compete against the same schools at cricket (boys), rounders (girls) and athletics (boys and girls).

In order to be selected to compete for the school it is important that the student joins the respective club held after school, as the team manager will only select the teams based on attendance at these.

A full fixtures calendar can be found on the school website via the link below but please note that these are subject to change.  If a student is selected to represent the school in any sport, then he/she will receive a slip informing them of the date, location of the game (home or away) approximate time of return as well as any additional information such as special equipment ie. Astro trainers.  Parents will also be informed of the same by email.

If for any reason the student cannot play in the game the team manager must be informed as soon as possible so that a reserve player can be picked.
