GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Year 9 Netball Game vs Carrington

Well done to our Y9 netball team on their first game of the season. The team worked well from the first whistle right the way through to the end, every player showed determination, resilience, and positivity. It was a very close first half, drawing at halftime, but the positive team talk, support from one another and the ambition to win, shone through and the team displayed some excellent play, resulting in outstanding goals by our shooters. The attitude, calmness and teamwork made them pull through with a 14-10 Beacon win. This is definitely a team to look out for this season. Well done Y9 and to Imogen who was named player of the match!
