The on-site testing at school was successful last week. It was really good to see so many students come through the doors and take the process seriously. The country’s familiarity with self-testing meant we needed to give guided support rather than direct instruction. This really sped up the process.
The school team who ran the tests were reflecting on how far we have come in less than a year. Last March we tested most children three times within two weeks, and then twice again in September. This week, we added to the total, which is now in the thousands. Quite a significant task!
Thankfully we received another delivery of home test kits at the very end of last term. We hope you received adequate supply for the holidays. We still have some in stock, not enough for a whole school roll out again – but we are able to replenish many households. Please ask your child to pick up a box from The Link.
Thank you for testing regularly and informing the school of any positive cases.
