UPDATE - International Youth STEM Competition Final - Winners
Team Amet Activists WIN Global STEM Competition with their amphibious vehicle design
Congratulations to Evie, Rae, Chloe and James who won this year’s International Youth STEM Challenge Organised by the BIEA.
The team designed and presented an amphibious vehicle to clear up plastic pollution from muddy shores by using infrared technology to sort the plastic and using mealworms to degrade the polystyrene.
They were awarded Age 15-17 Champions and Global Champions from 50 countries
We are so proud of the team’s achievements and hope they can inspire more of our students around the globe to explore STEM opportunities and think about plastic waste and the impact it has.
