BFA Fundraising Team

Helping you, to help us, help all of our children!

One of the key ways you can get involved with school is by joining our Fundraising Team. A friendly group of parents and friends who raise money for the school and OUR children.

But we are not your traditional PTA. We know that as parents of secondary age children, you've probably baked your way through primary school and sweltered through 3 hours of BBQ'ing every year in July at the Summer Fete. And we recognise that many of you take the opportunity to go back to work or take on extra hours when your children come to The Beacon School.

We offer something a bit different. Innovative ways of supporting the school financially that are fun and less onerous on your time. We do still of course run lots of events and ask for parental help but volunteering your time doesn't mean you will have to join any committees or sign your life away. We promise!

If you are new to the school and have an established group of friends from primary, why don't you come along and help in your familiar group? We'd love to see you.

Our current fundraising focus is:

The refurbishment of the Learning Resource Centre (LRC). We have committed to raise £30k to refurbish and transform this key area in school. We are are aiming to have reached this amazing target by the end of the 2019 academic year in July.

The current total raised to date is: £waiting on an update
