GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Celebrating GCSE Success

We are celebrating results at The Beacon School, with lots of positives and improvements from the pre-pandemic era, with nearly 20% of all grades being 9 to 7.

James Grant Duff, Head of School, said “I am really pleased for our students and families that we have achieved such strong results this year. Whilst the school is on this important journey, it is great to see that results have improved. In addition, our staff and parents have gone above and beyond over the last five years and we are all so proud of the outcome of their efforts.”
