GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

We are thrilled to announce that 7y/At has won The Beacon Schools' Last Choir Standing competition! Second place was 7x/At! Congratulations to all the members for their hard work and dedication. As a school that values the arts and encourages students to explore their creative abilities, we are proud to have such talented individuals who have excelled in this competition. We believe that music is a key part of a well-rounded education and we are proud to offer opportunities for students to showcase their talents. The winners and second-placed of the competition will be performing at our upcoming Christmas concert on Wednesday, December 13th at 7 pm in the Main Hall. We invite the entire school community to come and support the choir as they share their beautiful voices and spread holiday cheer. Once again, congratulations to 7y/At and 7x/At.
