Beacon students leave the school equipped to participate effectively in a dynamic and demanding world. We are focused on producing self-confident, responsible and articulate young people who will become mature and responsible citizens. We are an 11-18 mixed school open to students of all abilities. Our mission statement of 'Achieving Together' reflects the outstanding commitment of the staff and individual success stories of all the students. Our thriving Sixth Form offers a wide range of 'A' level and vocational courses. The school setting offers the opportunity for increasing independence in a supported and well-structured environment. This enables the students to achieve academic success and develop their personal skills by taking a leading role in the life of the school.
