Sports and Fixtures

At The Beacon School we compete against other local schools in The East Surrey League in a number of different sports.  During the winter term we compete in netball (girls) and football (boys) whilst in the summer term we will compete against the same schools at cricket (boys), rounders (girls) and athletics (boys and girls).

In order to be selected to compete for the school it is important that you join the respective after school enrichment club as the team manager will only select the teams based on attendance at clubs.  A full fixtures calendar can be found on the school website but please note that these are subject to change. If you are selected to represent the school in any sport, you will receive a yellow slip informing you of the date, location of the game (home or away) approximate time of return as well as any additional information you may require i.e. astro trainers, not boots.  If for any reason that you cannot play in the game you must inform your team manager as soon as possible so that a reserve player can be picked.  If you fail to turn up to a fixture without prior notice you will put your place in the team in jeopardy.  We look forward to training with you.
