2015/2016 EXAMINATION RESULTS

English and Mathematics

Results in English and Mathematics were both above the national average. 82% of students achieved A*-C in English and 72% in Mathematics with 22% being A*/A grades. The percentage of pupils achieving A*-C in both English and Mathematics in 2016 was 68%, which was 6% above the national average of 62%.

Science

67% of students achieved two A*-C grades in Science qualifications. Again, this is above the national average of 64%.

English Baccalaureate

20% of students achieved the combination of EBACC subjects (English, Mathematics, two sciences, a modern foreign language and History or Geography) and achieved a C or above in all Ebacc subjects.

KS4 PROGRESS 8 & ATTAINMENT 8

The average progress and attainment 8 scores for Year 11 students in 2015/16 was 0.02 and 49.73 respectively; both are above the national average.
