This is an exciting time for The Beacon Sixth Form, with students and staff working together to secure great futures.  The Sixth Form Team are committed to supporting students on this journey of discovery and achievement.

We are exceptionally proud of our Sixth Form and the values that are central to its ethos and success.  Put simply, we expect all students to work to the very best of their ability, striving for excellence in their approach to their studies and engagement in all aspects Sixth Form life.

What defines our Sixth Form lies in its commitment to inspire and challenge students. Students receive exciting lessons, which enable them to explore what they are most passionate about.  Students are also given opportunities to be involved in the School Officials’ Team, RAG Week, the Sixth Form Newspaper and an array of trips and activities.

The Sixth Form Team strive to ensure that all students feel happy and confident. This is achieved through a well-established pastoral support network that provides students with care, guidance and support when needed.  The tutorial programme provides tailored pastoral mentoring which perfectly bridges the gap between school and university/apprenticeship/employment.
