Year 9 Netball Beacon 8 - Oxted 11

Year 9 joined the Year 7s in travelling away for the first time this season against Oxted. The game was end to end with one point separating the teams at the end of the first quarter. Fantastic passing from Izzy and Attiya caught Oxted off guard and resulted in us taking the lead for the first time at the end of the second half. We battled well with some great interceptions from Petra and Emma to stop Oxted from scoring. However, as the light faded, Oxted found a second wind and in the closing minutes of play scored some late goals to end the match 11 – 8. Well done girls and well played Attiya, player of the match.
