Proposed Changes to Sixth Form Admissions Policy 2020 – Consultation Period Monday 10th December 2018 – Friday 25th January 2019

In accordance with the School Admissions Code 2014, The Beacon School Strategy Board and GLF Trustees are proposing to amend the Sixth Form Admissions Policy for entry in September 2020.  The consultation period will run from Monday 10th December 2018 until Midday Friday 25th January 2019, and we would be grateful for all comments or feedback no later than this date to:

A summary of the main changes are as follows:

  • To make the Sixth Form Admissions Policy consistent with the policy for the main school by reflecting the changes introduced for the main school Admissions Policy when it was revised during the autumn 2017-18 (for 2019 admission)
  • Changes made following review of the draft 2020 Sixth Form Admissions Policy and advice from Surrey Admissions team and the GLF solicitor
