Sixth Form Examination Results

The headline figure for A2 level attainment shows a steady increase over the last year.  In 2016, at A2 level, there has been an increase in the percentage of students achieving A*/B grades, A*/C, A*/D and A*/E grades, and average point score from 2015.

The AS results shows a steady increase over the last three years. In 2016 there has been an increase in the percentage of students achieving A*/A, A*/B, A*/C, A*/D, A*/E from 2015.

At BTEC Level, the percentage of students achieving a D*/P grade has remained a constant 100% since 2012.

The Beacon Sixth Form A level Programme of Study is currently converting to linear two year course structure, following the government guidelines for course conversion.

Students who have chosen subjects that are already linear, who will study a course for two years and will be examined in the summer of 2017.
