Beacon Parents Association

The Beacon School has a very active Beacon Parents' Association which has been formally running for just over two years and is in the process of becoming a registered charity.  We organise events for students, parents and staff in order to raise funds to provide the school with items which may not be covered by their budget.

These events include:

•    Providing refreshments at parents’ evenings and school concerts

•    Christmas Raffle

•    Year 7 and 8 disco

•    Coffee morning for new Year 7 parents

•    Quiz nights

•    Pamper Evening

•    Summer Fun Day for students, parents and staff

•    Developing an Eco-Garden at the school which is managed by students as part of the new enrichment programme

We also provide the opportunity for parents to get to know each other and become members of this very supportive, friendly, purposeful team.  Furthermore, we have been delighted to provide departments with additional funding for resources.  These include a new printing press for Art and the new House System trophies.

If you would like to know more about the BPA and/or would like to join us, please contact: Mr Tim Snuggs (Chair):
