Years 7 and 8 - Charity Movie Night Update

Following the generosity of students and staff members of The Beacon School, over £100 was raised in aid of Cancer Research UK as a result of the Years 7 and 8 Movie Night on 1st February 2018.

Students' and Staffs' generosity on this occasion has highlighted how caring and thoughtful members of The Beacon School can be.

This money will go directly to Discovery House's chosen house charity: Cancer Research UK.  A charity which aims to eventually make the world cancer free.

Please look out for further charity events that will take place in aid of this worthy cause as well as other fundraising events run by Endeavour, Atlantis and Explorer Houses.

Thank you once again to all those who got involved.  Have a lovely half term!

Mr C Diffley (Head of Discovery House)
